Food Shows

The purchasing department hosts two highly successful food shows every year.  These shows are very popular as customers come from as far away as Whitehorse, Yukon.  Attendance is made up of TGP street customers, the Warehouse Markets and their customers, and Satellite Wholesalers and their customers.  It is a great way for all customers to see and sample new and existing products.

Purchasing

Our purchasing team is dedicated to working closely with manufacturers to bring our customers quality product at competitive prices.  With over 6,000 food service SKU’s available and a 98% fill rate, our commitment to the industry is clearly evident.

Satellite Wholesalers

Through our association with independent distributors, we are able to supply northern Alberta, British Columbia, the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Warehouse Markets

The Grocery People Ltd. is a complete broad line distributor of quality national brand products, meat and produce.  Through distribution from our two locations, Edmonton and Kamloops, we are proud to supply the many faces of the industry including independent restaurants, camp caterers, health care institutions and various government facilities.
