FCL/TGP Donates Clothing to Hope Mission in Edmonton

May 19, 2015

The Hope Mission in Edmonton was the recipient of over 500 pieces of new clothing which was donated by FCL/TGP.  The clothing, which was surplus Co-op uniform inventory stock from Unisync, was an assortment of new, non-crested fleece jackets, vests and hooded sweatshirts.  The clothing will be greatly appreciated by the clients of Hope Mission this fall and winter when demand for this type of warm apparel is at the highest.

Hope Mission is a charitable organization operating in Edmonton that provides food, clothing and shelter to our city’s less fortunate.  TGP has been a long time supporter of the work at Hope Mission with regular donations of food stuffs from our TGP warehouse in Edmonton.  They are also a good commercial customer of our TGP Food Service group.  More information about the Hope Mission can be found at: http://hopemission.com

The Edmonton FCL/TGP Employee Giving Committee was provided the opportunity of selecting a worthy local charity in our community to receive this generous donation, and the committee selected the Hope Mission.  A big thanks goes out to our TGP Edmonton Distribution Team for coordinating the clothing delivery, with a special thanks to Joe Crawford, Jim Gould and Dan McLaren for their help.
